Why Subscribe to Of Death and Dying?

Learn estate planning and end of life planning in simple terms.

Learn what the wealthy know but lawyers do not want you to know.

Note: This is so amazing, you will need to see this for yourself. Just ask any attorney if you should get a Revocable Living Trust. About 9 out of 10 told me that I did not need one. However, The Wall Street Journal, Modern Maturity and numerous other top financial magazines say you should have a revocable living trust. Now why would an attorney tell you not to get one?

Learn what health care provision is denied to almost 78 percent of those who qualify even though it will not cost you nothing. More importantly, it could give you a better quality of life and it could save your life.

This is about hospice. Hospice can not only improve your quality of life, very often, it saves peoples lives. Of course, they have to be fired from the program since they end up living instead of dying. I know this because of working as a hospice nurse and seeing patients discharged and live on.

Learn how one piece of paper can save you up to $2000 if you need it and only $6 to get it before you need it. This paper is called a General Durable Power of Attorney.

Learn why a will can cost you both time and money if you are the executor or executrix. By time, does a 1 1/2 years time seem long. One of our subscribers told us of his uncles probate that lasted over 7 years.

Do you know what a pour over will is and why you should have one?

Why everyone should have a living will and a durable power of attorney and what the difference between these documents are?

If you want to learn more, subscribe to Of Death and Dying. What do you have to lose? How much can you save?

Do It Now!

The Government has over trillion dollar IOU note that they have to pay? Where do you think they are going to come up with the money. If you said your inheritance, then you are correct.

AS a matter of fact, where do you think the bail out money is coming from. If you said your taxes, you are right again.

You cannot afford not to be UberFrugal.

RIP-Graphic

Why RIP

R.I.P. is usually found as epitaphs on tombstones. It always referrs to the deceased.

The phrase is never used regarding sleep or night time rest although sometimes we wish it did.

What is the meaning or the definition of R.I.P.?

At lease as far back as the late 1800's and first decade of the 1900's, many religous people believed that when you died, you were dead. Tombstones read, Resting In Peace Awaiting a Glorious Resurection.

Several tombstones on my family grave have these words carved into the stone.

If they don't go to heaven...?

So, where did they go if they did not go to heaven as is commonly believed?

The answer is simple. If you have a Bible, look at 2 Timothy 2:18 where it indicates the resurrection (to heven) had not yet taken place. If it had not taken place then, the question is when? Also consider Ecclesiastes 9:4 where it says the Soul Dies! Then Ezekiel 18:4 where it says we are all souls rather than having one.

Sorry if this ruins your day. But the truth be told, when we die, we are dead and Resting in Peace and awaiting a resurection according to the Bible.

Actually, this is a rather comforting when you think about it. I don't know about you but if this is true, I get to be with a bunch of my dead relatives one way or another. Ultimately, this can save you a lot of wasted worrying and emotions.

UberFrugality can be taken to the grave with us and beyond.
